Okay, I'm not really sure that this is the appropriate board, since this isn't a *club* event, but I couldn't think of anywhere better to put it, so here goes. The gist is that the members of religious clubs might be interested in seeing this speaker. Western Reads author on campus October 28-29, 2008 Gordy Slack is the author of Western Reads selection, The Battle Over the Meaning of Everything: Evolution, Intelligent Design and a Schoolboard in Dover, Pa. The book details the historic 2005 trial over the teaching of intelligent design in high school biology classrooms in Dover, PA. Did you guys read his book? I would love to go and see what people think. I am still not done reading it, but it is really well done.
