October 2 Meeting Minutes- 11 members present

Samhain prep is going well. Have no fear.

Hekate's Sickle- Tina-Bina, Jamie U, and Allison are going. Registration may still be open (at full price) if people want to go.

New Moon Ritual is going to be hosting by Jared and Jamie. Most likely on the 28th of October.

Bryna is doing the Full Moon around the 14th. Stay tuned.

Jamie U is doing a teach-in on Tool Consecration next meeting.

The Western Front article on PAST is coming out tomorrow.

Interfaith Day of Rest!
We're going to partner up with other religious clubs to put on an Interfaith Day of Rest. The agenda so far includes, but is not limited to, abstaining from things that produce negative impacts (with an emphasis on the environmental) and turning towards other more positive things. Publick Liason Tina is going to start contacting religious clubs this week and bring us a report next week of whose on board.

We're fund raising the week of Oct 20-24. Make stuff. Tina and Bryna will be exercising their duties as Publick Liason and Treasurer and get that fired up.

Alexandra, Jared, and Allison are now the working committee on the Imbolc Ball. We're going to research whether or not its financially feasible at this point.

And Allison did a teach-in on ritual design. Even in her diseased state and lessened brain capacity it seemed to go well. Thanks to everyone who came.

The email is sent to EVERY SINGLE email address I could find on the AS religious club listings. If I don't hear from people by Monday I will start calling up people who haven't responded yet.

p.s. our AS listing is out of date, Xandra is still listed as our contact. Jamie U, darling, what is your preferred email address so I can tell them to update it?

It was a beautiful teach-in; very inspiring.

I may soon get a recipe book from raw-foodist-frutitarian Chuck. He says he'll bring it to me on Monday. Don't know if it'll help or if you'll have new news from the doctor by then but it might be worth a shot...

Just so you know, you will be missing my announcement that I am prepared to do my Teach-in whenever you guys need me to do it.

So, only two people responded to the email I sent, I got a lot of can't deliver messages back though. I tried to call some of the people on the list but after the 5th person didn't pick up, I kind of gave up for the night. I'm a little behind in bothering people but I think that at least 1/2 the information on the site is old and outdated.

Anyone have any ideas? I think I may try calling them again tomorrow during the day.

So, I went and called EVERYBODY and left messages for everyone (since only one person picked up, from the Younglife Leadership group, and they weren't interested, as they're not a regularly meeting organization)

Hopefully someone calls me back!

DVSAS stands for Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services. I'm in volunteer training this week and over the weekend.
