So last night I was having a chat with Hekate (like you do), and somehow ended up telling her I'd do a Dark of Moon Ritual for her (similar to a ritual I did for her last year, if you remember it). So September 29th at 8p.m. I'll be doing a Dark of Moon ritual at a place TBA. If the Stone Circle is open by then it might be there, but last time I biked by it was still in a fence.
Anyways, save the date and let me know if a different time or a day earlier or later would work much better for you. I think this is going to be an awesome ritual; I've gotten a lot better at invoking since the last time I did it.

Sounds awesome! will you need any help with the ritual? or is it just the old tried and true "voluntell" system?

I'll probably need someone to maiden for me and of course will be voluntelling quarters the day of, but I want to wait until I have it all written and such and figure out how much help I'll need. I don't like to have to invoke and worry about the integrity of the circle, though.

I should be there. Depends on what time I leave Jason's on Sunday since he'll be home this Friday.

The stone circle is open, but they just planted new grass around and it's still growing in; also, there are a ton of landscaping plants grouped around that I think the construction crew is still doing stuff with. So technically, I think we could still use it but I'm wondering if we really want to.

So, have we decided if the circle is going to be a viable option? David (my husband) is working security that night at the construction site, so he will not be joining us for the ritual. He will be at the next meeting, though.

So, like, could someone tell me please, where is this "stone circle" or how to get there? I would greatly appreciate it.

One of the art pieces at western is a circle of stones. It is within the construction area.

Here's the repeat of what I sent to the Facebook group re: ritual and stone circle.
I'm sorry for deciding this so late, and perhaps it's the wrong decision, but I think construction has finally cleared out enough for us to have a ritual back in the stone circle. So the Dark of Moon ritual with Hekate will be tomorrow at 8p.m. in the stone circle.
If you've never visited this particular "sculpture," it's located sort of on the back of the comm building right next to the new building they just put in. If you come down the big stairs towards the new building and take a hard left and then a right to walk through the parking lot behind the comm building, and then take another right when you reach the end of the building, hopefully you'll see either a large stone structure, or a hear a lot of Pagans.
Appropriately for a dark moon (in my estimation, anyway), we will be working with banishment and setting goals, so it might be a little helpful to think beforehand about some habit or situation you'd like to see less of in your life, and a goal you'd like to work towards with the energy you've freed from the thing gone. For example, you might want to put procrastination behind you and spend the time you're not procrastinating working towards better grades, to name a rather common one. If you can't think of anything beforehand, that's fine.
Also, feel free to bring a potluck item if you wish. The easier to eat, the better (think finger food). I'll try to have something yummy there in case no one else brings anything.

The orders change almost weekly, but last week the area around the new building (including the stone circle) is completely open to the public. What they don't want is people loitering near the doorways and walls of the building itself. Not that I have any authority to speak in any official capacity whatsoever. Just passing along the little info that I have.

There have been many attempts in the past, to work outside of my solitary comfort bubble, but this was the first time it really felt good to be working with others. I have to say that this was the best group dynamic ritual I have ever been a part of and I wanted to thank you all for that experience.

I'm really appreciating how much energy you're bringing to the club even having been here so short a time. Much appreciated
