Meeting Minutes for April 24th 2013

Beltane
-The Beltane ritual will be held on May 5th, a Sunday
-For the ritual, please think about something you want to become passionate about beforehand.

Vendor's Row
-We will be fundraising May 7th (Tuesday) through May 9th (Thursday).
-We will be taking volunteers to man the table next week! If you are available to help out, please let us know!

OrgSync Contest
-Apparently we won a prize through an OrgSync contest. We were entered to win by hosting an event earlier this year (the Ask a Witch Panel).
-We won $100.00 for our club fund!

Elections
-Elections are coming up soon. If you are going to be at WWU next year, please consider running for a position!
-The offices that are up for election are: President, Public Liaison, Treasurer, Secretary, and Web Master.
-For complete descriptions, as detailed in the club constitution of the positions see below:

Article IV.

Section 1: The club officers shall be President, Public Liaison, Secretary, Treasurer and Web Tsar/Tsarina.

Section 2: All officers will be responsible for attending at least eight of ten quarterly meetings unless they receive prior approval for their absences from the club members.

Section 3: It shall be the duty of the President to facilitate meetings, represent the club at events, and to divvy out other responsibilities. It is the President’s duty to maintain the laws set forth by this constitution and be sure all rules of school are obeyed. It is their duty to keep this constitution updated.

Section 4: It shall be the duty of the Public Liaison to manage publicity for club events and foster good relationships between WWU Pagans and the Associated Students. All official communications between WWU Pagans and the University are to be overseen by the Public Liaison. The Public Liaison, together with the President, shall respond to inquiries from the public in regards to club business.

Section 5: It shall be the duty of the Secretary to keep minutes or notes of the meetings, create and distribute literature in the form of pamphlets and other miscellaneous items that need writing. The Secretary is responsible for submitting required written information to the Public Liaison for Associated Student Representatives, including, but not limited to: end of the quarter reports (excluding fiscal ones), club agenda records, membership list etc. as well as keeping track of numbers of official meetings attended by each member. This list would not be posted online but may be accessed by request at any time.

Section 6: It shall be the duty of the Treasurer to maintain the club finances and collect, record, track and keep safe all monies that are in the possession of the club, including the end of the year fiscal report. Any items to be bought for meetings, as gifts, as donations, or any other club purpose shall be overseen by this office. The Treasurer should also suggest and oversee fundraising activities (including submitting reservation requests for vendors row), though the club at large will help.

Section 7: It shall be the duty of the Web Tsarina/Tsar to maintain and oversee the online presence of the club, under direction of other officers and the club at large.

South African Pagan Library
-It is now confirmed that we have a plaque on a shelf in the library!

Skyclad
-The tentative date of WWU Pagan's first ever Skyclad ritual has been set for May 30th in the evening.
-More details to come.

Woman's Circle
-The first meeting for Woman's Circle has been set for after club next week at Ayana and Missy's apartment.

Men's Circle II
-The second meeting of Men's Circle is on April 25th, 6:00pm @ Gabriel's apartment.
