Dr. Mary Poplin (professor of education, Claremont Graduate University) is giving a free public lecture next Thurs. night at 7:00 PM in Arntzen Hall 100. Her talk on "What I've learned from Wiccans and Mother Teresa" should be provocative.
Poplin's main area of research is philosophies of education, in particular their application to social justice and educating the poor.
Pagan Club was explicitly invited, so we're going to walk over there after next week's meeting. I'm curious to see what she has to say.
