Meeting Minutes 1/13/08

14 people in attendance, including a reporter from Klipsun.

Alejandra's Yule Rit was good, despite low attendance because of snow. The ritual explored being comfortable with darkness.

Jared and Jamie's Full Moon was "beautiful and theatrical". Well done, there.

Next week we're going to talk about making a list of books and suggested authors and give it out to local book stores, so they'll hopefully start stocking something besides Doreen Virtue and stuff about how the world is going to end in 2012.

Winter Info Fair is on Jan 28th from 11-3. We're going. Details to come.

Alejandra is going to buy some electric tea lights for club use (with club money). Approximated cost was between $5-10.

Tina is going to have a Dark Moon rit Tuesday the 27th after club. It will be in the Stone Circle if it isn't raining.

Update on SMF stuff:

E'bet has received everyone's forms who had sent them (so Allison's and all the ones I sent in a big bunch). She's being really nice about other people coming but if people who may want to come (and bunk with us) would decide soon, that would be very helpful. She wants anyone considering not coming because of money issues to call her and see if you can work something out.

Also: my mother just sent in her registration for SMF and is going to be staying with us. She's not Pagan but is really trying to understand things so we'll see how it goes. She's also a pretty silly person (spends a lot of time with middle schoolers for a reason), so shouldn't be too much of a drag to be around, but sometimes my friends will mistake her for me (I don't know why, but it happens), so look very carefully before you decide to wrestle me to the ground or something.
